- In the top right page of any new journal entry, write the current date and time
- Begin each new journal entry with Dear Jesus, as modeled on the first journal entry page of your new Dear Jesus Spiritual Journey Prayer Journal
- Now Begin to write. This space is designed for you to be vulnerable, and commune with Jesus. In this space you can write out your prayers, goals, dreams, desires, things that are troubling you, and or something as simple as the outcome of your day. Use this space to write your intimate thoughts or feelings on a spiritual level. This journal entry space was designed to be a tangible prayer and or conversation with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Write out your prayers, name them one by one, and make your request known to the Lord, and it is important for you to leave space so you can come back and write the date for which God answered your prayers
- End each journal entry with your signature and the time you ended writing
THE PURPOSE OF SPIRITUAL JOURNALING
- Spiritual Journaling helps you keep track with your spiritual journey
- It helps you to document your progress and have a reference of how far along God has brought you, and where you are spiritually
- It gives you a reference for prayers, prayers answered, and a place to go back to see how to handle situations or circumstances spiritually
